The 2009/10 season will kick off on the 8 August with the Daggers firmly embedded as a Coca Cola Football League side.

After the relegation drama of our first season in the Football League, last season saw the Club compete with the very best in the league, finishing a very creditable 8th, only one point from a play-off place.

Will John Still and his players continue their year on year improvement sustained over the past 4 years and go even further next season and either gain a place in the play-offs or even automatic promotion? Only time will tell.

However, both on and off the pitch the club strives to improve it's facilities and we have embarked on the building of a new 1200 seater stand with new dressing rooms and spectator facilities.

We are also this season upgrading our sponsorship and hospitality facilities and for the first time ever including in our Match and Matchball sponsorship packages, a 3 course carvery meal and also the opportunity for individuals and companies to also just enjoy the Daggers matchday experience with individual meal packages.

For all our pitchside advertisers, the coming season will also bring opportunities. In addition to the excellent coverage given to the Club by Sky TV in their League Two round up on a Monday evening, repeated on a Tuesday afternoon and their league preview on a Friday evening, next season is the start of a three year TV deal with the BBC.

Although full details of their coverage is yet to be announced, they have already indicated that they will be airing a highlights programme covering all Football League match and will be using footage from the League on their regional programmes and websites.

The club's matchday programme has also continued to be a great success with over 30,000 sold or issued last season.

No matter what the next few months bring, everyone at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Stadium will be doing everything to not consolidate our Coca Cola League status, but also push on for even greater success.
