Dagenham & Redbridge signed Connor on a two-year contract in September 2010. Connor is a product of the West Ham Academy and was part of their youth team in 2009/10. He spent a couple of weeks at Scottish Premier League Aberdeen on trial in July 2010 but returned south to play for Blue Square Bet South side Thurrock to keep match fit. He returned to Ship Lane side on loan for a month after joining the Daggers.
