Romain signed for the Daggers in January 2010 on an 18-month contract after the club received International clearance.
The right back, born in Poitiers France, has played for Chamois Niortais in Ligue 2 in France and more recently Gueugnon of the Championnat National.
He made his Daggers debut against Shrewsbury on January 23rd as a second half substitute. Towards the end of the season he deputised in the midfield position and made such an impression that he kept his place for the remainder of the season.
He scored his first goal for the club against Burton Albion in April as the club finished the season strongly, winning the play off final at Wembley and with it, promotion, in the process.
