Wesley signed for the Daggers on a three year contract on September 1st 2008 from Blue Square South Fisher Athletic.
He began his career at the Waltham Forest youth academy moving to Thurrock FC. Whilst at Ship Lane he was the leading scorer in seasons 2005/06 and 2006/07 before Fisher paid an undisclosed amount to acquire the striker with great pace and skill in September 2007.
He made his daggers debut in the 2-0 victory at Rochdale in October 2008. Wesley spent two months on loan at Blue Square South side Grays Athletic to get some match practice where he netted twice before being recalled in February.
