Damien joined the Daggers for a five-figure fee in January 2010 from Plymouth.
He rose through the ranks from their Centre of Excellence to earn a contract with Plymouth Argyle in May 2008.
To gain more experience Damien joined Port Vale on loan in October 2008 then again in August 2009, before spending a couple of months at Grimsby Town in November 2009.
The former Republic of Ireland Under-18's and 19's right back made his Dagenham & Redbridge debut in the 1-0 home defeat to Northampton Town and ended his first season with the club playing at Wembley in the club's League Two play off victory. Damien has now made over 50 appearances for the club.
