Gareth joined the Daggers from Histon on a two-year contract.
He began his career as a youth team player at Crystal Palace before moves to Farnborough, Ashford Town and subsequently Bishops Stortford where he spent four seasons. In 2007 he signed for Histon and went on to make 121 appearances for them in the Blue Square Premier.
John Still originally tried to sign the full back, with a 40-yard throw-in, during the January 2010 transfer window but finally got his man in June 2010.
