Following a 3 game spell away from the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham Stadium the Daggers return on Saturday when they host Rotherham United in an npower League Two clash.
Recent Form
Tuesday's 1-0 defeat at Torquay made it four defeats on the spin for John Still's side, performances have been okay but the results haven't followed and the Daggers are now down in 23rd place in npower League Two. A single goal late in the 1st half from Lee Mansell was enough to give Torquay all three points on Tuesday, before that was a 4-1 defeat at Crewe and a 5-0 defeat at Millwall in the FA Cup With Budweiser 3rd Round.
The Daggers home form has been inconsistent lately, two great wins over the festive period over Barnet & Gillingham was followed up with a 0-0 draw with Championship side Millwall. But last time out Hereford United came away with a 1-0 win, a performance & result which seemed to instigate this current poor run.
Rotherham United on the other hand have been at home for the last three games, three games which returned just the three points for the Millers. Those points came against Bradford City but defeats to both Swindon Town & Port Vale have followed. Away from home Rotherham have been patchy, last time out they lost at high flying Cheltenham Town but before that they beat Hereford and drew with Macclesfield. Rotherham United are currently 13th in npower League Two.
Team News
John Still is hopeful of welcoming back Josh Scott to the fold on Saturday; the powerful striker has been stepping up his training schedule and could yet feature against the Millers. The game is expected to come too soon for Brian Woodall though, the club's leading League scorer is making good progress on his groin injury but is likely to be held back.
Club captain Mark Arber came back into the side on Tuesday following a 3 month absence and he'll be hoping to keep his place with Mickey Spillane perhaps holding on to his position in midfield. Sam Williams, Luke Howell, Peter Gain, Kevin Maher & Dominic Green will all miss out with their respective injuries.
Rotherham United have signed Kieron Cadogan on loan from Crystal Palace this week and he's expected to come staright in for his debut, Ex-Dagger Scott Griffiths is another new signing for the Millers, he made his debut last week and should keep his place this weekend.
