Rochdale preview
The Daggers continue with their second home match of the week as we host Rochdale in the Coca Cola League Two.
John Still's men will have two games per week for the next three weeks. That run started with our midweek defeat against Exeter City, and here's hoping for a different outcome this time.
It's another match against a team just behind the Daggers as Rochdale will be looking to jump into at least a play-off position by Saturday night so we will expect a tough match tomorrow from Keith Hill's men.
In fact there's only four points in the league table from Dale in 10th position right up to second placed Brentford so a number of teams can move around after the weekend results.
For the Daggers they will want to try and avoid what happened on Tuesday night as Exeter City left Essex with all three points despite Still's side hitting the woodwork three times in the second half.
They might want to take heart from the first fixture this season between the two clubs. The Daggers impressed a lot of people at Spotland after goals from Paul Benson and Matt Ritchie secured a 2-0 success.
Since the new year Dale have only played two league matches, a 3-1 win against Accrington Stanley and last Saturday a 2-2 draw at home to Lincoln City. Adam Le Fondre opened the scoring for the home side, however they fell behind after an own goal from Tom Kennedy and a Dany N'Guessan effort gave the Red Imps the lead. Six minutes remaining Lee McEvilly grabbed the equaliser.
Rochdale has strengthened their squad in the last week signing Nicky Adams from Leicester City on a month's loan.
Players to watch on Saturday are their leading goal scorer, Adam Le Fondre with nine league goals and Will Buckley & Chris Dagnall just behind with seven league goals each.
The Daggers press team will have a match report just after the final whistle.
