Just 36 days after our historic promotion play-off final win at Wembley the Daggers were back in action in our first pre-season friendly at Boreham Wood. John Still fielded a mixture of squad and academy players, which included new signings: Alex Osborn and Danny J Green.

It didn't take long for the Daggers to take the lead when a Darren Currie corner was met my Phil Walsh in the box to head home.

Walsh then doubled his and the visitors lead on 41 minutes. The Daggers striker ran onto a through ball and found the net past Overland in the Wood goal.

The third arrived on 75 minutes but it was Boreham Wood's, Charlie Hunter who headed into his own goal from a Sam Butler cross.

Hakeen Araba completed the scoring on 77 minutes when he blasted home from 20 yards.

Next up for the Daggers is a trip to Dartford on Saturday, 3pm.
