Dagenham & Redbridge are pleased to announce the signing of forward Gavin Tomlin from Yeovil Town on a three year contract.
Gavin began his career at Aylesbury United and also had spells with Staines Town, St Albans, Yeading and Windsor & Eton before moving into the professional ranks of Football with Brentford.
After making 13 appearances for Brentford, he then moved on to Fisher Athletic where he enjoyed a prolific season scoring 24 goals. Gavin has played under the management of current first team coach Wayne Burnett who managed Fisher Athletic for two spells.
Gavin then secured a move to Yeovil Town in July 2008 in which he managed to score 9 league goals in his first season and 7 league goals in the 09/10 season.
John Still said on the signing "I'm delighted to have added Gavin to the squad, he is a clever striker with good movement who links the play well,
He is a hard worker who is equally adept playing as a forward or wide, and hopefully we can help him fulfil his potential at the L.B.B.D Stadium"
