The club will be led out at Wembley next Sunday by thirteen year old Daniel Gorsuch. Daniel is a season ticket holder himself and it was his ticket pulled out in the draw.

Any Daggers fans renewing or buying season tickets by Saturday were entered in a draw to win the chance to nominate the mascot for the day.

Daniel, 13, attends Cooper's Company and Coborn School in Upminster and comes from a family who have been attending matches at Victoria Road for over 50 years supporting the old Dagenham FC and current side.

Daggers Managing Director Steve Thompson commented, "The draw seemed the best way to select the mascot given the limited time we had.

"I'm so pleased that the ticket drawn was a regular fan of the Club and I know Daniel will have a fantastic day at Wembley.

"Our season tickets sales have gone well so far with 70 new season ticket holders. Supporters still have up until the 29th May to get the early bird discount."

Daniel and his dad upgraded their tickets this season from terrace to seats in the Carling Stand.
