Since the beginning of the season the club has made repeated strides to improve the quality and content of the Daggers Player service.
We now have regular exclusive audio and video content available to Daggers Player subscribers in addition to match highlights from all our Football League games, which are available 24 hours after each game and unlike other outlets, are archived to allow viewing at any time in the future.
There is also live match commentary from all games, home and away (subject to technical difficulties), and whilst it has not always been possible to have had Daggers Commentary, none the less commentary has been available.
As in other areas, the club is always trying to improve facilities and services to supporters and this weekend sees the debut away commentary from the brand new Daggers commentator Dominic Yarwood. Dominic will broadcast live from the Moss Rose Stadium from 3pm on Saturday and anyone unable to get to the game will able to experience the next best thing via Daggers Player.
We know that many of our supporters have been sceptical of the facility, but the current 14 day free trial is an idea opportunity to give it a try. The club is very keen to make a real success of Daggers Player
, for not only does it provide us with the opportunity of supplying a great service to all supporters, but can potentially be a real money spinner for the club.
Of the £34-99 yearly subscription, over 50% is paid to the club, this is nearly doubled from receipts paid as a result of the clip rights earned from the BBC and Sky Internet deals. These payments are calculated on the number of Daggers Player subscribers.
The club has invested time and money in trying to make this a success, and with the support of all our fans we are sure this can only grow and grow.
