The Academy drew 2-2 against Colchester United in the League Cup on Saturday morning.

Joe Luck opened the scoring for the Daggers on 40 minutes with a header from a free-kick. The home side then equalised moments later as Arnott scored for the Us after beating two Daggers defenders.

On the hour the Daggers were back in front when Joe Eubel fired home and the home side were chasing the game again. The equaliser arrived on 73 minutes with an excellent finish from Conor McCloskey with a 25 yard free kick.
