Regular visitors to the Daggers Web Site will have seen a recent move from Daggers World to a new Daggers Player.
This is our all new premium online service. Daggers Player has been designed for you, the fans, with a cutting edge user friendly design, to provide a better online fan experience.

Now fully Apple MAC compatible, Daggers Player has all new 1mb widescreen flash video, allowing fans to watch highlights in crystal clear clarity. Highlights are available for every single match, with the added benefit of being available worldwide, and see them before anyone else online.

Daggers Players also has an enhanced Live Match Centre, featuring upgraded live audio commentary, now providing near DAB quality sound of every match. Alongside this sit up-to-the minute feeds and match stats from all divisions, giving fans the perfect match day destination.

We know that Daggers Supporters were frustrated last season that we did not have our own dedicated match commentary but relied on the opposition feed.

However we are pleased to announce that along with the upgrade in the service that Mark "Brownie" Brown has agreed to become the voice of the Daggers on a matchday and provide full match commentary for most of our home and away first team games.

This service will go live this coming Saturday for our match away at Crewe Alexandra FC.

Unfortunately due to previous commitments 'Brownie' cannot guarantee to be able to cover 100% of our fixtures but is confident he can make most. This will mean that, unless we can find a deputy, that on these occasions we will have to rely on the opposition feed. It is hoped that this can be arranged for mainly home fixtures so that most away games are covered, although unfortunately he will not be able to attend the Carling Cup tie at Cardiff City next Tuesday and we will consequently rely on the opposition feed.

In addition to Mark we will also have a guest summariser, normally a player not involved on the day, to add that extra insight into the game.

Daggers Player also features all the best and most relevant news articles from the club website, so fans have all the best content in one place - with no adverts. The Daggers World subscribers can continue to use their old log in details and no changes to subscriptions or payment plans have been made.

In addition to all of the above the Club also intends to provide exclusive interviews with members of staff and players on a regular basis, this will be a mixture of radio and video commentary which we aim to be able to start before the end of the month.
