The Daggers put in another good performance against mid table Brentford at the London Borough of Redbridge Stadium.
The home side made two changes from last weeks win at Barnet. Reid replaced unavailable Nash up front and Norcott replaced injured Bourne.
A cagy opening brought little goal mouth action. It took until 13 minutes before either keeper were brought in to action. Wootton was denied by the visiting keeper following a mix up and seconds later Durrell made a fine save.
Both Wootton and Wren came close before David Pitt scored for the visitors on 37 minutes, beating two defenders before scoring low into the corner of the net. Daggers were level on 42 minutes, defender Norcott hooked the ball in to the box and Reid also hooked, this time over the goalkeepers head.
With seconds to go in the first half, a long ball was picked up by Pitt again and nipped in to beat the onrushing Durrell to the ball, to score into an empty net. The reds were back in the game on 53 minutes, Demetriou crossed for Wootton to bravely head home. Brentford could have taken the lead when Vassell struck the bar just after the hour.
The Daggers continued to pressure their visitors with a succession of corners and good passing fromthe influential Hurlock, Wootton and Wren. With 5 minutes to go, Hurlock struck over from 15yards.
After the game, a pleasedLee Goodwin commented "we deserved towin, especially with our second half performance, A good all round performance and some excellent individual performances from thelads.
