The Daggers recent bad run continued at a windy May and Bakers yesterday. The loss was Brighton's gain as this achieved the double over the reds this season.

Daggers made a bright start and attacked with the wind on their backs. After only 90 seconds the Daggers took the lead. A Jay Nash corner was headed home by the on rushing Connor Mead, his first league goal of the season.

The Daggers had there chances throughout the first half with Nash and the impressive Joe Eubel in attack. Brighton's first chance of the afternoon came on 28 minutes when James Smith volleyed just wide. Five Minutes later Aaron Hogarth's volley went just wide of the upright. The Daggers went into the break the happier of the two sides.

With the wind now in Brighton's favour, they caused the home defence problems. On 56 minutes a cross wasn't cleared and Steve Brinkhurst headed home unmarked to bring the visitors level. Brighton made it 2-1 on 73 minutes following a good save by debutant Taylor, Smith followed up to score.

Within three minutes Brighton looked to have sewn the game up, another cross was not cleared and skipper Liam Upton headed home after good work from Ollie Rowe. Just  a minute later Daggers nearly equalised following a free kick from Bland and Eubel's header was well saved.

Brighton continued to push and Taylor had to make two excellent saves in the final minutes. The Daggers equalised in the remaining seconds of the match from a break by Lewis Bourne and he found Eubel who coolly slotted home.

After the game Lee Goodwin said "Three errors, three goals. This marred a decent performance. It's a learning curve for the boys"

The Academy side are not now in action until 17th March when they entertain Wycombe Wanderers.
