Dagenham & Redbridge Midfielder Peter Gain has undergone a cartilage operation.

Peter was suspended anyway for this Saturday's away Coca Cola League Two fixture at Barnet having reached five bookings for the season.

He should have returned for the following midweek fixture at home to Exeter City but will now be out of the side for some time

The 32-year old former Peterborough and Lincoln player joined the Daggers in January 2008 and has made 46 appearances for the Club including one goal.
