Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club will host a special community day at their match against Macclesfield on the 20th March dedicated to the fight against racism.

The day, backed by a host of key stakeholders, including The Football League, The Kick it Out campaign, the Red Card Organisation and the Hope Not Hate campaign, will focus on encouraging fans to 'sign up against racism' and back the positive work of the club within the local community.

At the match, fans will be given the opportunity to sign up to the campaign, with VIPs and celebrities expected to be in attendance to back the cause by putting their moniker on a 'sign up against racism' board at halftime. Special 'sign up against racism' banners will be used for team photographs both before and after the match. Family friendly entertainment, including dance troupes and children's face-painting will help to make the day even more special.

The Daggers have also chosen this day to showcase their Football League status to the wider community, offering unprecedented discounts to encourage attendance. This includes providing home supporters, including season ticket holders, the opportunity to experience the new Marcus James Stand.

Prices for this game are some of the lowest ever seen in The Football League, starting at 25p for concessions and 99p for adults standing:

Terrace
Adults 99 pence Concessions 25 pence

All Seats Carling & Marcus James Stand
Adults £9.99 Concessions £4.99

In addition all season ticket holders, both terrace and Carling Stand, are able to exchange their vouchers for a ticket for the Marcus James Stand.

For logistical and safety reasons and to allow the club to plan in advance for the increased numbers this offer will hopefully attract the discounted prices and season ticket swap only apply if purchase or exchanged by the 19th March. Normal prices will apply on the day.

To assist with the increased demand in addition to the normal ticket office opening hours terrace tickets will also be available from the club house every day until the 19th March from 12 noon until 8.00pm.

Tickets may also be purchased online HERE
