Matchday Press Team: David Simpson, Phil Ravitz, Simon Newell & Rob Newton
Facilities
The London Borough of Barking & Dagenham Stadium boasts great facilities for members of the local and national press attending games at the ground.
The Daggers press area can house up to 20 members at once, with facilities available for both written press and other areas of the media. Licensed photographers can also be granted access to pitch side.
Telephone, ISDN, Power and Internet points are on hand, subject to availability and fees.
Applying for Accreditation
As a member Club of the Football League all media require a license number to obtain entry to the ground. Applications for match accreditation should be faxed to 020 8593 7227 using the appropriate form attached to the Football League License.
Car parking at the ground is extremely limited but we will endeavour to accommodate any requests received.
Requests must be made at least 48 hours before any first-team match - and no applications after this time will be considered. The club reserves the right to refuse or cancel any request without prior notice. These rules are in accordance with those set by the Football League.
Media Pass Collection
Passes can be collected two hours prior to a weekend fixture and one and a half hours prior to a midweek match from the ticket office, located next to the clubhouse entrance.
All Media are required to sign the appropriate sheet with their details and will require a valid ID of either a Football League media pass or UK press pass to collect their pass for the game. All passes must be collected at least 15 minutes prior to kick off. No pass = No entry.
Reporters and Radio
At the press box, our representative will allocate your seat and issue you with a programme and team sheet as well as some helpful notes.
During half time a hot drink and light refreshments are provided.
Post match, all interviews are to be conducted in the press box and our representative will escort the two managers to this area. Club Press officers will be allowed access to the players tunnel area in line with the Football League requirements 2008/09. Please be aware that any persons attempting to conduct interviews in areas other than those designated may be ejected from the ground by the Clubs stewards.
Photographers
All photographers will be issued with a team sheet prior to the game and are welcome to participate in the light refreshments issued at half time but should be aware that this involves climbing stairs which may be unsuitable for those with large amounts of equipment.
