The Daggers went out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy after a 1-3 defeat at Milton Keynes Dons. After a goalless first half the home side scored two quick goals early in the second period.

Dean Lewington opened the scoring on 55 minutes with a header at the far post from a Ritchie Partridge cross.

Three minutes later Jermaine Easter scored his sixth goal of the season. Tony Roberts made a fine save to keep out Jason Puncheon's header only for the ball to fall to Easter to fire home the lose ball. 

On 66 minutes Easter scored his second of the night to seal the outcome with a long-range effort hitting the post and Roberts on the back of the head on the way into the net.

Josh Scott scored a consolation goal for the Daggers deep into injury time. Graeme Montgomery took a corner-kick from the right in the fourth minute of added time. Mark Arber headed the ball back across the goal where Scott headed into the goal.
