Terry has been assistant manager of the Club for almost ten years now having arrived from St Albans City, working initially under Garry Hill. As a player he had a long career with Sutton United, Dartford, Enfield and Chelmsford City and Dagenham for whom he scored at Wembley in the 1977 FA Trophy Final. After hanging up his boots he took up coaching and worked at Dartford and Enfield alongside his friend and former England Under-21 manager, Peter Taylor.
