Centre of Excellence & Academy Manager - Warren Hackett
Warren was a defender who began his career with Tottenham Hotspur and was part of the 1990 winning FA Youth Cup side. He had spells with Leyton Orient, Doncaster, Mansfield and Barnet. After retirement from the football league due to injury, Warren played for two seasons in non league football before going into coaching where he was assistant manager at Waltham Forest Football Club and Fisher Athletic Football Club. Warren played as an international for Saint Lucia. He moved to Toronto Canada to further his coaching career and worked for Glen Shields Soccer Club as an Academy Director. He has since returned to England and is now the Centre Of Excellence Manager at the Daggers.
Head of Youth Recruitment: Hasan Mehmet
Hasan also has great knowledge of players from Sunday morning football and also had great success with Interwood Football Club. He steers the ship in the under-15/16's age groups preparing them hopefully to become full time scholars.
Head Goalkeeping Coach: Clifford Matthews
Cliff is the Centre of Excellence goalkeeper coach. He is responsible for all the keepers and mentors them on a one to one basis. Cliff is a former crazy gang member goalkeeper as he played for Wimbledon FC.
Sports Therapist: Ben Jacobs
Head Of Youth Medical: Darren Gildersleeve
Studied sports therapy at London Metropolitan University for 3 years. Whilst studying, worked with amateur and semi-pro football teams as a physio as well as a work placement with Dagenham & Redbridge. Graduated with first class honours degree. 21 years old.
Skills Coach: Paul Barry
Paul arrived at the Daggers with a wealth of experience having worked for the Football Association full time as a regional coach. He is the skills coach and prepares and monitors all of the weekly training programmes. He helps to enhance all the player's technical ability.
