It was a goalless night down at Victoria road as the Daggers were unable to get the three points against Carlisle United.

Doidge was close to getting his name on the score sheet after two great chances at the start of the second half.

Still made four changes to the starting line-up, despite getting the first home win of the season against York City. This was due to Joss Labadie being suspended after receiving his tenth yellow card of the season. Likewise, Both Matt Richards and Dominic Hyam were not called up due to medical issues.

Just two minutes into the game there was a hand ball shout in the middle of the Carlisle box.

A shot from Hallam Hope in the 25th minute, left O’Brien beaten as it went just wide of the far post.

The best chance of the game for the Daggers came just seconds after the second half kicked off, Doidge found himself through on goal, but was unable to slot it past the keeper.

Doidge again had another chance in the 47th minute, Passley’s cross found the strikers head, however the ball clipped the top of the crossbar.

A Justin Hoyte’s miskick fell for Danny Grainger, whose shot was well saved by O’Brien, Muldoon did well to block the rebound from getting anywhere near the goal.

Clevid Dikamona produced a great last ditched challenge on Charlie Wyke preventing him from scoring.

Muldoon chose to go for goal on his own in the 65th minute, but his side footed shot from outside the box went just wide.
