Whitehawk 2 Daggers 3

Daggers are through to the third round of the Emirates FA Cup following a 3-2 win at Whitehawk.

There were two changes for the visitors with Ayo Obileye replacing Clevid Dikamona and Ashley Hemmings starting place of Jodi Jones.
After an impressive display at Crawley Town, Josh Passley kept his place on the right hand side of midfield.
Daggers started the match slowly and conceded a couple of early corners in front of the loud home support.
The visitors were fortunate not to fall behind in the 18th minute when Joe Widdowson headed a Sam Deering free kick against his own post before clearing.
Daggers had a great chance to take the lead when Passley found Jamie Cureton in the box, only for the striker to fire over in the 27th minute.
The visitors went a goal down in the 32rd minute when Danny Mills headed home for Whitehawk following Jake Robinson’s cross to the back post.
On the stroke of half time, Daggers were able to haul themselves level with a thunderous effort from Kyle Vassell.
Justin Hoyte played the ball up to Vassell who had his back to goal, but was able to turn his man and produce a sublime finish with his right foot from 18 yards.
Five minutes into the second half and Mark Cousins was called into action, tipping a free kick from Robinson over the bar.
It was Daggers, though, who grabbed that all-important goal with Passley scoring his first for the club.
Cureton had broke down the right before passing across goal to Passley, who sidefooted home in the 76th minute.
But Hawks took the game in extra time with another stoppage time equaliser, this time from Juan Cruz Gotta.
Daggers, though, retook the lead in the 100th minute as Obileye marked his return to the line-up with a powerful header.
The visitors cause was not helped, though, by James Dunne seeing red for a second bookable offence.
Daggers hung on, though, to book a trip to Premier League side Everton in January.
