Daggers 0 Yeovil Town 1
Brandon Goodship provided the only goal of the game to give Yeovil Town the three points against Dagenham and Redbridge.
John Still made three changes to the starting line-up, after the Daggers away loss at Mansfield Town.
There was no real threat at all for the first twenty minutes of the game, till Liam O’Brien was tested by Marc Laird’s first time shot from the centre of the box.
Yeovil then pressed higher up field as Ben Tozer won a free kick just outside the box. Matthew Dolan missed the top right hand corner of the goal, as he directed the shot at goal.
It was Hawkins who got the first chance for the daggers, he saw himself one on one with the keeper, but his shot turned out to be an easy save for the Yeovil goal stopper.
A misplaced pass from the Yeovil defender ended up falling for Joss Labadie, who fired one just over the crossbar.
Matt McClure was close to getting a quick goal before the half time whistle, managing to intercept a pass in the Yeovil’s defensive half, but his powerful shot ended up just high.
Yeovil scored just five minutes into the second half, Laird found Brandon Goodship, who calmly put it past O’Brien.
John Still reacted quickly with a substitution, bringing on Jodi Jones for Matt Richards.
Laird’s low shot from outside the box in the 67th minute tested O’Brien, who pulled a great save in the centre of the box.
The Daggers were starting to run out of time, Muldoon smashed a shot over straight after Jones whipped it into the box.
Labadie put a good ball in for Doidge, But Artur Krysiak came out to catch the ball to ensure his team the clean sheet.
