Daggers drop bottom of the table after Barnet’s Luke Gambin and Michael Nelson helped Barnet to a win.
The Daggers made 5 changes to their side following last Tuesdays defeat away against Wycombe Wanderers.
Bright start to the game as both teams produced various chances, Jamie Cureton
, who made his first start for the team under John Still, came very close to getting the opening goal, but went on to miss as he fired it wide.
Cureton once again decided to test the keeper from outside the box resulting into an easy catch for the ‘Bees’ stopper.
Jamie Stephens received a nervy pass back from one of his defenders; Oliver Hawkins, who then charged in taking the ball off the keeper, finding Labadie, who just missed.
Cousins showed great keeping as he came out of goal to prevent Shaun Batt from scoring the opener in the 18th minute.
Six minutes later Luke Gambin got the opener for the visitors, after working his way inside the Daggers area, putting it past Cousins.
Stephans put over Cureton’s shot as he stopped the ball and hit it on the half volley with his back towards the goal.
Cureton again was clear on goal after Hawkins headed it down, but the bounce was too hard for the veteran to get a clear shot on.
Labadie went on a great run in the second half, he then crossed the ball in for Hawkins who struggled to get hold of the ball, his attempt to lob the keeper resulted in just going over the crossbar.
John Still made the first Daggers change in the 58th minute as Jodi Jones
came on for Oliver Muldoon. Minutes later Boucaud’s shot from outside the box went just wide of the post.
Jones came very close to scoring a spectacular goal as he ran into the box and dribbled his way through, he then hit the post after a shot with his weak foot.
The second change of the game came in the 64th minute for the Daggers as Ashley Chambers
came on for Boucaud.
The Bees went on to extend their lead after Nelson was found alone two yards away of the goal by a Chris Hackett cross, Nelson then volleyed it in.
The Daggers went on to produce their final change of the match as Christian Doidge
came on for Jamie Cureton
with twenty minutes left of the game.
John Akinde missed a chance to get three for his side after Cousins did very well to cover his goal, Hackett then hit the ball first time ending well over the Daggers goal.
