Dagenham & Redbridge threw away a two-goal half time advantage to draw 2-2 at Yeovil Town.
Wayne Burnett handed league debuts to Justin Hoyte and Jake Mulraney while there was a first league start this season for Frankie Raymond
Despite struggling to get on the ball in the early moments, it was Dagenham who took the lead in the 18th minute.
After initially hitting the post, Ashley Chambers
shot again and his effort, which was off target, was headed in by Kane Ferdinand
The visitors should probably have been two goals to the good 14 minutes later when Jamie Cureton
put a half volley from the edge of the box over.
It almost proved costly as from the next attack, Glovers right back Connor Roberts struck a fierce shot at goal that Liam O’Brien had to get down well to save.
But it was the visitors who got the second of the match with involved once again.
The attacker laid it off to Raymond, a full 25 yards, who unleashed a powerful effort that flew into the net.
Yeovil were able to pull one back in the 69th minute through Ryan Bird to set up a tense finale.
Eight minutes later the hosts were level when O’Brien came to clear a corner but saw his punch bounce into the net off of Jakub Sokolik.
And that’s how it finished as Daggers still look for a second league win this season.
