A superb late goal by Darren Moss sealed all the points at Christie Park against a Morecambe side who also are looking for a play-off spot.
With the club moving to their new stadium next season this was our final visit to Christie Park, where is holds fold memories of our Conference Play-off semi-final win on penalties.
The home side did hit the woodwork from Paul Mullin and Garry Hunter but the only goal arrived with just four minutes remaining. Moss fired a fantastic volley into the top corner of the net, his first goal for the club.
For the Daggers they dropped down to 11th place but still one point off the play-off zone so still all to play for against Hereford United and Darlington.
John Still speaking to BBC Essex after the match:
"It was a tough, tough game on a bad pitch and I thought they just edged it and deserved to win it. "Second half I thought it was a much closer game, with plenty of goal mouth action." "We battled very hard against a team with a very good home record."
