Daggers took all three points at Burton Albion with a Paul Benson winner and a Tony Roberts penalty save.
Paul Benson gave the Daggers a very early lead with an easy finish from close range on just four minutes after nipping between Tony James and the Albion goalkeeper, Artur Krysiak.
Just before the break the Brewers had a great chance to level the game when Shaun Harrad was adjudged to have been fouled in the penalty box by Will Antwi. Harrad stepped up to take the spot kick and fired to Roberts right but the Daggers goalkeeper saved superbly.
The afternoon's disappointment was completed for Burton Albion when captain, Guy Branston was sent off for a professional foul on Benson as the Daggers striker was running onto the ball and heading towards goal.
At the the final whistle the Daggers continue this fine run and stay second in League Two.
