After Barnet's win on Friday night the Daggers are over-taken at the top of the table so a victory would have moved them back to the top of League Two.
During the late part of the afternoon Daggers fans of 167 thought this was going to happen after Paul Benson scored his sixth goal of the season just after the break of 49 minutes.
Benson picked the up in the box and turned and fired home into the corner of the net with ball sticking to the stantion for a few seconds.
The hosts equalised on 81 minutes when a corner kick from Frankie Artus was met with a powerful header from Michael Townsend to equalise.
From the equaliser the home side then bombered the Daggers goal with Tony Roberts making a number of fine saves to keep the score at 1-1.
Deep into injury time Peter Gain went very close to grab the winner but his effort hit the side netting. In the end both teams shared the points and John Still's men finished up in third place on Saturday evening in League Two.
